What educational, entrepreneurial or business development programs, if any, have you taken advantage of?
Macprofessionals recently donated 26 Apple Macbook laptops to the Detroit-based entrepreneurial training program, Bizdom U. This program focuses on empowering entrepreneurs to start-up and lead successful businesses within the Detroit market.

Who was your first customer and where did you find them?
Carlson Marketing Group was Macprofessionals' very first customer. The marketing firm sought out Macprofessionals for full-time tech support to manage their Apple network.

Where did you find your first employee?
Macprofessionals obtained its first employee from AutoTrader Magazine.

Have you promoted an intern to employee status, and if so how many times have you done it?
Macprofessionals promotes individuals from within the company who possess the right attitude, knowledge and skill sets.

Where have you turned to find capital to grow your company and which institutions have provided it?
The company continues to reinvest itself and does not look to outside sources for capital.

What is one thing Michigan does better or has going for it that other more successful regional economies don't?
Michigan continues to reinvent itself. Though Michigan has been plagued as the state with the failing economy due to the recent collapse of the automotive industry, if you really do a deep dive, you will find there's an abundance of opportunity throughout the state. Michigan's young entrepreneurial companies have begun to take initiative in focusing on other segments, including technology, medicine and education.

What are some of the advantages to doing business here?
Michigan holds an abundance of skilled, technical people available to satisfy the growing sectors throughout the state. By tapping into this resource, companies are able to utilize various skill sets possessed by this diversified workforce.
