What educational, entrepreneurial or business development programs, if any, have you taken advantage of?
I studied computer science and economics at the University of Michigan, and I received my MBA from the Kellogg Business School in Marketing, Management and Strategy, Entrepreneurship. I also recently attended ACE convention for Entrepreneurs in Ann Arbor.
Where did you find your first employee?
The company's first employee came through internal networks.
Have you promoted an intern to employee status, and if so how many times have you done it?
Not yet. However, we are implementing a summer internship program where we hope to turn our interns into full-time employees.
Where have you turned to find capital to grow your company and which institutions have provided it?
To date, we have raised capital from angel investors.
What are some of the advantages to doing business here?
Michigan is a wonderful place to run a business. We work in an office in downtown Royal Oak, which is a vibrant, young, and tech-savy community. We are within walking distance of countless restaurants and our employees really enjoy coming to the office. All of the people we have reached out to have been very receptive and willing to share insight.
