I have participated in
MI-SBTDC, University of Michigan's
Zell-Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, the
OU INCubator, U-M CFE Mentors,
Ann Arbor SPARK and Boost Thumb.
Who was your first customer and where did you find them?
We are still in the product development phase.
Where did you find your first employee?
I worked with Ken a few years ago at a previous employer.
Have you promoted an intern to employee status, and if so how many times have you done it?
No interns to date but we are actively looking for a couple.
Where have you turned to find capital to grow your company and which institutions have provided it?
We are boot strapping with money from our founders and the
Michigan Pre-Seed Capital Fund to date.
Name an idea, policy or mindset from elsewhere that you would like to see this region adopt?
I haven't found anything lacking in this region. The help and support have been phenomenal.
What could local leaders do to help attract and retain more entrepreneurial young people to Metro Detroit?
We need to continue supporting them by becoming mentors/advisors/stakeholders.
