What educational, entrepreneurial or business development programs, if any, have you taken advantage of?
We have partnered with professional medical groups, such as United Physicians and the Michigan Association of Chiropractors to help market BodyPartChart to their respective members.

Who was your first customer and where did you find them?
Karmanos Cancer Institute was our first customer. Nick Karmanos was very excited about BodyPartChart and made the introduction to their marketing and purchasing teams.

Where did you find your first employee?
The principles of the company have been devoting significant time to the enterprise. We are recruiting team members from southeast Michigan.

Have you promoted an intern to employee status, and if so how many times have you done it?
We are hiring a team of interns this summer for the first time, and we always look to promote from within.

Where have you turned to find capital to grow your company and which institutions have provided it?
The partners are funding the venture at the present time.

What are some of the advantages to doing business here?
Southeast Michigan is a great place to start and grow a business. Our region has tremendous resources, from the talent pool of your folks to a great work ethic.

If you could change one thing about this region, what would it be?
I would like to change the perception of this region by the rest of the country. Once people actually see southeast Michigan and Metro Detroit, they are impressed and surprised. Seeing is believing. I would like to see an image makeover, which I believe has already begun. We have so much to offer on many different levels. We just need to get the word out. BodyPartChart is proudly a part of that process.
