Who was your first customer and where did you find them?We currently don't have any customers per say. We just launched in beta and in the process of building a user base and getting their feedback. Our first official
Bite to Meet was with two very interesting individuals who's paths crossed with ours during a recent
Tweetea event.
Where have you turned to find capital to grow your company and which institutions have provided it?We are currently self-funded but discussing opportunities with potential investors in the start-up community.
What are some of the advantages to doing business here?Detroit and Windsor have great tech communities, passionate about helping each other grow and succeed. The vibe is not easy to find in other cities.
What could local leaders do to help attract and retain more entrepreneurial young people to Metro Detroit?Providing funding for growth is key, but I think sharing experience, guidance, and support is just as important. I also think it would be cool to see local leaders meeting with and actually working along side young entrepreneurs to help facilitate community growth.
